In 2014 I worked as Assistant Arts Producer at Bestival & Camp Bestival. Here I was responsible for booking, managing and delivering all of the arts content across the sites (everything that isn't live music or DJ's). This included managing and delivering the Amphitheatre arts programme which sees a huge array of spoken word and varied theatre shows. Along with the Drag venues of the festival which we programmed a huge amount of cabaret acts & a huge carnival parade.
A personal highlight was curating, project managing and producing a popular installation previously seen at the Hayward Gallery: Martin Creeds "Work No 204". This was a popular immersive installation allowing the participant's experience a room filled with balloons. I worked closely with Hauser & Wirth when planning this to ensure Creed's original vision for the work was delivered professionally and project managed the whole process from concept to staffing to H&S briefings.
