RCA Records UK - Website (Concept)

  • Calvin Keesoony

Company: RCA Records Type: Concept Date: June 8th 2019 I was visiting RCA UK’s website one day and saw that it was unfinished and wanted to give my own take on how it would look. I feel that an important part of a record label is to provide information on their artists, especially those from the UK, as this is where the record label is based. The colour scheme was inspired from RCA UK’s Instagram account, where I noticed a recurring theme of orange and white and used that in order to be consistent with the brand. Heltica is a font that was part of the branding found on that same Instagram account, while Heebo is the font that was found on the unfinished site.

Branding Guideline
This image shows the origin behind the branding along with some of the elements such as: Colour Scheme, Logo, Icons and Typography.
Homepage
This page features variations of the RCA Records logos over the years, starting from 1929 - Present. I decided to do this as it symbolises how the brand has changed over the years accoriding to what design trend was popular at that time.

This is the artists page which features some of the acts from RCA including: Au/Ra, Bring Me The Horizon, MØ , NAO, Nothing But Thieves, Olly Murs, Paloma Faith and Yungen. I wanted this site to showcase the UK roster.
