To celebrate the launch of the new AutoSelect™ technology tools, an app concept was conceived and designed in prototype.
Beacon technology is placed in leading home improvement stores. On entry to the store a push notification appears on shoppers smartphones, encouraging them to download a Black+Decker offer and promotion app.
The app holds information about the latest range of AutoSelect™ technology tools, the prices and where the items can be found within the store. Additionally, free branded Black+Decker iPhone cases and available to take away.
The case transforms customers iPhones into a Black+Decker product. Once the app is downloaded, in addition to all the other features the customer has six essential DIY tools to aid and assist those weekend chores.
The client was impressed and plans for a Stanley Black+Decker tool app is on the horizon.
