Blindness’s photobook is developed in 2015. It’s inspired and based in José Saramago’s novel, tittled blindness.
The Photobook is divided in texts, pictures and grids:
-Grids, separate the parts of the book, and it is a clear reference of the own blindness, inspired in Bauhaus School and their vision through the grid. We have designed, different grids to see through them and using the onionskin paper, you can’t see clearly, that’s means, the paper blind you...seeing it.
-Every text inspire a photography which we based and translate to braille.
I made the art direction of the work, the photographies, the layout and the bookbinding and thre work of braille is handmade.
