Concept and design of original covers for books, often ensuring the author brand style is consistent when necessary and delivering print ready files.
Working closely with type, layout, illustration, pattern, hand lettering and colour. Responsible for picture research/clearance, sometimes commissioning photographers and illustrators, organising and art directing photo-shoots. Working closely with editorial, marketing, sales and production on a variety of briefs.
