This video recorded the exhibit view of a series video installation called "BoomingX". The bamboo food steamers act as a unifying symbol of quotidian Chinese life and are arranged to suggest an ariel view. By employing the use of mapped microscopic and city imagery, this installation aims to illustrate growth as a fundamental element of life and reflect the multiple strata of the exponentially booming organism, society, and city, from both micro and macroscopic viewpoints.
