To design a marketing tool that will promote the New Sirio Ultra Black Paper. What makes this paper unique is that it is one of the darkest paper available in the market, it has no carbon content which makes this paper ideal for metallic foil printing, and it is extremely light fast.
Since printers and graphic designers take the decisions on paper, the lingo that they use was chosen as the base of the CMY'K' concept.
'K' stands for black.
Other words ending with ‘K’ like DARK and BLACK were also used to stress on the blackness of the paper. This was for people who are not familiar with the lingo.
