The Brief:
Britain's Beer Alliance aims to grow the confused UK beer market by combatting the negative perception of beer drinking through educating the public about the huge variety of food and beer pairings on offer.
My Role:
As lead creative, I helped to develop and deliver a creative pitch that focussed on getting non-beer drinkers to reappraise the role of beer in their lives with a strategy that focused on informative and fun content, video production and live events. One idea that I pitched was bought on the spot by the client. I suggested bringing their beer matching Twitter tool #BeerMatch to life by targeting industry influencers to receive hand delivered food of their choice alongside an expertly matched beer.
After winning the pitch, I worked closely with the account team to create stunning imagery and catchy copy that both promoted beer and food pairings and jumped on reactive trends.
