For nearly two years when I wasn't at work and had some spare time I pitched, researched and reported on cultural happenings in Brixton, London as a Voluntary Arts Contributor for the Brixton Bugle newspaper and Brixton Blog. The Brixton Bugle is a free newspaper with 10,000 copies of each issue printed and distributed monthly. Alongside the newspaper runs the Brixton Blog.
I really enjoyed learning about the area where I lived at the time, and seeing what the creatives of Brixton were up to.
My samples of work below published in the blog cover developments in music, film and art. I also had the pleasure to see my work printed in the newspaper.
