We were free to pick any topic as long as the final outcome had 12pages and could only be printed by a photocopier; true DIY zine style. I chose to create a fanzine about the fictional cult, BuenaKai, from Guillermo del Toro's movie Pacific Rim.
I designed it in the image of a holy scripture - something that could actually have been used in said fictional world to convert non-believers. It was packaged as part of a series of zines, Curious Cults, which explores various fictional cults that exist across pop culture.
