Exhibition Design (Winter-Spring 2017)
Cabinets of Costume is an exhibition accompanying the international Culture, Costume and Dress Conference which took place in May 2017 at the Parkside Gallery.
In collaboration with Rachel Shore, I have designed a multi-sensory exhibition which celebrates the work of alumni and costume practitioners, ranging from physical garments, illustrative costume designs, photography and film. Explored in a formal exhibition style and traditional installation layout, the central space acts as a beautiful and meticulous costume workshop, communicating the costume designer’s process.
Our aim was to transform the Parkside Gallery space for the audience to experience and discover the characters formed through the exhibited material, leaving the audience amazed.
