In anticipation of a planned refurbishment, one of Scotland’s best chefs, Cail Bruich’s Chris Charalambous, required a vital update to his restaurant’s brand and website. Knowing our onions, we were only happy to help.
To reflect their ethos of continuous improvement and seasonal culinary creativity, a tasteful new brand identity was essential to the progression of the brand.
Influenced by the best in classical and modern cooking techniques, Cail Bruich’s idiosyncratic and seasonal approach to cuisine, inspired us to mirror a similar approach in the creation of the new brand.

cooking up the brand-- by fusing together freight sans, and freight serif typefaces, we crafted a new typography-focused logo that has become the core ingredient of the brand.
Cail Bruich's fully responsive website is deliciously configured for smartphones and tablets. Yum!

seasonal colour wheel ..

Cail Bruich’s idiosyncratic and seasonal approach to cuisine, inspired us to mirror a similar approach when cooking up the new website.
We selected 365 individual HEX web-matched colours, giving unique hues for every day / week / month and season of the year.
The restaurant’s new website now subtly changes its colour scheme on a daily basis, reflecting Cail Bruich’s seasonal cooking ethos.
