This was a recent documentary photography project I embarked upon featuring scenes I captured during my travels across the Sunshine State. I wanted to encapsulate the hyperbolic nature of a country so widely depicted in the media. This was my own take on the American dream and the impact it has upon one of the most liberal states in the country, a state that refers to itself as a Republic, and has ambitions of separating from the USA altogether.
