campaign against legal highs for teenagers

In one study, 1 in 4 people said the reason they first took drugs was due peer pressure or wanting to fit in with friends. Studies have found that for teenagers, the desire to impress their friends overrides the fear of taking risks. ‘Teenspeak’ has developed through modern communication methods such as text messaging and social networking sites. When it comes to communication, parents and teenagers seem to be speaking a different language. Our concept utilises teenage language and also turns the concept of ‘peer pressure’ on its head. Using internet, and the social media and apps, our campaign will be lead by the teenagers for the teenagers. Using debates, making them understand with their words what they should do and not do.
