Cell–19

Cell–19 is a commentary through data visualisation on the conditions and effects Covid–19, and beyond, has had on prisoners in the United Kingdom. The outcome resulted in four posters highlighting different aspects and conditions in a prison cell; size, time, movement and emotions. I created a prison cell-like grid that became the host for the information to be displayed. The challenge was to incorporate the different types of data into this cell-like structure, thus colour and shapes were used to give each poster their own identity, with distinct features, while still forming part of a holistic design.
