The concept is “positive/negative” (regarding both space and time) that was primarily inspired by the night view (the array of dynamic shapes created by lighted windows in the dark) and the vintage maps (symbolising daytime exploration) of Naples. The handmade type with slightly offset shapes, mimicking the look of the lighted windows when seeing from a distance, and the vitality of the city; the letters themselves represent the narrow streets on the vintage maps.
