Co-op Halloween

  • Lauren Coates
For Halloween 2015, the Co-op wanted to find a way to get customers spending more in store.

Turning their annual Halloween promotion on its head, The Local Shop of Horrors was born. Existing Co-op produce transformed into Halloween themed recipes. Hot dogs became severed fingers. Mini-rolls turned into bats. And burgers transformed into ghoulish monsters.

I ran the social aspect of the campaign, creating daily content in the lead up to the big day itself. Using the spooky food characters, we shared GIFs of the recipes, daily promotional offers and tips on how to make Halloween the best yet.

- The launch video received over 297,000 views
- The Co-op website saw a 57% uplift in traffic
- The Instagram campaign saw a 25% increase in followers
