Coco de Mer x V&A

"The V&A and Coco de Mer have revealed the fruits of their collaboration - a sophisticated lingerie collection inspired by nature. When news broke of the surprise pairing back in January, it seemed like an unlikely partnership - and yet the two names have more in common than you might think". - Ella Alexander for Harper's Bazaar
"I love the V&A Museum and feel that as two British heritage brands with a love of beauty we were very well-matched," Lucy Litwack, CEO of Coco de Mer, told us. "We met and felt that we could produce a lingerie collection that would embody the key elements of both of our brands - luxury, opulence and glamour." - Ella Alexander for Harper's Bazaar
"The V&A opened up its archives for Coco de Mer, who were inspired by artefacts that formed embroideries and prints. An 18th Century glass and gilt scented bottle inspired the golden heron embroidery, while the botanical beauty print originated from an embroidered silk cushion cover. William Morris' wreath-net furnishing fabrics from 1882 have been used to create a floral print" - " - Ella Alexander for Harper's Bazaar
