As art director for the visual culture book 'Collector's Edition: Innovative Packaging and Graphics', published by Thames & Hudson in 2014, I was responsible for the overall visual direction of the book. This included art directing still life photography for all 170 examples and portraits to accompany exclusive interviews.
In the spirit of the book I commissioned the Collector’s Edition ‘artist cover bomb series’ which features one off artworks, created by Sir Paul McCartney, Nick Cave, Wayne Coyne, Robert ‘3D’ Del Naja, Stanley Donwood, that were painted directly onto the standard edition of the book.
The book has gained significant press attention for its design and includes articles and interviews in Eye magazine, Wired Japan, Creative Review and It's Nice That.
These unique artworks were sold at auction and raised over £6000 for the Alzheimer's Society.
