Colmore Row and the surrounding area is traditionally Birmingham’s most sought-after business address, with a history reaching back to the 1700’s.
On behalf of Tanc, I entered a pitch to refresh the branding for Colmore Business District, designing a logomark that featured a visual timeline of some of the area’s noteworthy buildings. This made sense to begin with a build-up, and reference a colourful, varied history, before touching on the bright future ahead.
I imagined that for large-format areas like hoarding or banners, a horizontally-repeating version could be used for maximum visual impact.
