Community Utility Cart

A plastic free, manoeuvrable cart designed for youngsters (3-7) to simply grow their own food, aswell as helping the community by reducing the amount of plastic that is wasted by creating eco bricks/structures and separating plastic waste.

By learning through play, youngsters will be encouraged to remove non-recyclable plastics from the communal green spaces, and appreciate how the food they help grow fuels a healthy lifestyle. Positive learnings enable each youngster to use them as platform to increase their influence over removing plastics in the future.

Materials used for Utility Cart (locally sourced - sustainable (reusable)
-Beech wood frame - High abrasion resistance, locally sourced
-Oilcloth/waxed cotton seating/baskets - lightweight, non plastic
-No adhesives!
-Beeswax finish for reisstance - Long lasting, natural look (non-toxic)
