Nomad is a travel app in its early stages as a startup. Like in all startups, you have to be scrappy and do far more than simply the job title, which is something I embraced and thrived on. I manage and relaunched social media across Twitter, Instagram and Facebook (creating a 'Story Behind the Photo Series'), compose content for email newsletters and the magazine, wrote app copy and on-boarding, brainstorm strategies for marketing the app in the long term: events, guerilla marketing, competitions and analyse data to inform marketing campaigns. As Partnerships manager, I had meetings with hotels, restaurants, travel bloggers and journalists for collaborations on Nomad in London and LA.
