Cotton Diaries

  • Angus Dunsire
Cotton is a natural resource farmed and used in vast quantities. Up to 29 million tonnes of cotton are produced every year. It has a huge environmental and social footprint that needs to be addressed. The Cotton Diaries platform was built to showcase solutions that exist now that if scaled could make a big difference. From tackling water scarcity by revolutionising the dyeing process to empowering women and girls by providing access to the better education, innovations and new waves of thinking are already there throughout the cotton industry making it more sustainable.
