Context

In 2016 Hennessy partnered with the artists Carnovsky to promote the exclusive limited edition of VSOP Privilège. Beyond highlighting a cognac with a unique character the idea was to enable everyone to assert their own identity. 

Idea

On this occasion Hennessy launched Craft My Symbol. An integrated campaign that celebrated each personality through social media data. Because we are all as unique as the VSOP Privilège. People could create their own tailor made symbol simply by signing in to their Facebook account. More than 7 billion combinations could be generated thanks to a technology specifically designed to create as many Carnovsky s unique works as there re people on earth.

Result

Across the world people created their unique symbol. Even leading influencers joined in without receiving any endorsement. 2016 Exclusive Limited Edition became one of the most iconic Hennessy VSOP Privilège. What the story does not tell is whether this success is due to the campaign or the greatness of this unique cognac.
