Brand Identity
Create VR are an Augmented + Virtual Reality agency based in LA and London, working with clients such as Sony Pictures and Universal. They approached Superfried to re-brand the agency.
With such an exciting, high tech sector the directions in which this could be taken were endless. Various experimental options were explored, but ultimately simplicity via typographic marque led to the solution that would provide the longevity and versatility that they required.
With a typographic route selected, it was requested that the logo marque could also work with the letters AR. It was here that the angled connection between the V and A would ensure a consistent style. Once the AR + VR had been developed the client was able to combine this with their existing logotype in a lock-up.
Further development work was conducted based on the marque to generate graphic devices to style branded collateral and interior wall graphics in addition to palette, typeface selection and the development of presentation templates in both Keynote and InDesign.
With the identity in place, it was time to design their new website alongside developer James Seddon at Cotton Creative.
