Creative Campus Rio

Creative Campus was a design-led knowledge exchange between 12 design students from London and Rio. The project was to create a product that would be cultivated across Rio, targeting the main problems the city has. The main problem we identified was the lack of accessibility for disabled people in the city and flooding of blocked drains. In two weeks we produced a finished design proposal. We proposed a small ramp allowing access to the raised pavements while also preventing debris blocking the drain. We presented it to the ‘Britain is GREAT’ team who are now finding funding to get the product made.
