Creative Career Chronicles: GRAPHIC DESIGN COURSES

WHAT IS A GRAPHIC DESIGN COURSE?
There are a wide range of educational programmes available that teach the skills, tools and techniques of graphic design. The most comprehensive of these being a university degree, which is sometimes entitled ‘Visual Communication’ rather than ‘Graphic Design’.
There is also an increasing number of shorter or more flexible/part-time options on offer, such as evening classes, three month intensives and once-off week-long introductions to various design disciplines. We outline some of the best of these (in London and the UK) below.

SHORT COURSES
Blake College (Islington, London)

UAL (University of the Arts London)

Other specific courses, such as Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign, Creative Thinking and Art Direction, can be found here.
