Creative & Cultural Opportunities Programme
Helping young east Londoners start their careers in the cultural and creative sectors
The Creative & Cultural Opportunities Programme supports 25 young east Londoners a year to kick start careers in the creative industries. Participants take part in two weeks of workshops, led by some of London’s leading creative and cultural organisations, develop a creative network and receive 1-2-1 support and guidance from industry leaders.
Designed in collaboration with world-leading dance and performance venue, Sadler's Wells, the programme connects talented young Londoners with live opportunities, and provides the best advice in creating a strong professional profile to impress future employers.

And in the past we've partnered with Spitalfields Music, Paines Plough, The Yard Theatre, National College of Creative Industries, the Royal Opera House, and the V&A.
During the Creative & Cultural Opportunities Programme, participants:
- Learn about the sector and the opportunities available in East London and beyond
- Visit creative organisations in East London, making connections in the sector
- Connect directly with hiring managers to chat through live roles and opportunities
- Receive tailored career advice and guidance, support with applying for opportunities and portfolio clinics from Create Jobs (A New Direction)
- Are provided with travel & food expenses throughout the programme
- Progress onto an additional 6 days of industry training in digital content creation following the programme
This programme is supported by the London Legacy Development Corporation, and programmed by Create Jobs in collaboration with Sadler's Wells.
