Creative portrait Photoshoot

Most of my shoots are for entrepreneurs and brands but sometime I have a chance to work with creative people which is a lot of fun. Alex is an actor based in London. Acting is not his main job but he wants to change that. He has asked me to help him. I have met Alex a few years ago when I directed him on a commercial. We clicked straight away. Last year he asked me to take some photos of him. We did a series of headshots. Two weeks ago he asked me to take some more photos of him and we tried something different. He asked me to direct him and to tell a story thorugh the photos. And that’s what we did. I like working on location as it’s more unpredictable and I can create more natural results. We spent two hours together around Waterloo and I took 700 photos of him. We had a lot of fun: the shooting was fluid and ideas were taking shape and developing while we were shooting. I have enjoyed the process. Alex is very happy with the photos, he has used them on spotlight, IMDb and his agency is using the photos to land him that big part he is dreaming of.
