“The real path of discovery consists not in seeking new lands, but seeing with new eyes.” - Marcel Proust
In 2016 I set myself a challenge to recover a creative part of myself that I felt modern life was slowly taking way. The challenge was to explore a new form of creativity in my spare time, each month for 12 months. Themes included Origami, Animation, Colour, Storytelling and lots more.
In that year I not only learnt new ways to express my creativity but also ways to completely expand how I saw the world - through meeting new people, trying new things and embracing being a beginner. With each theme change, it was like travelling to a new and unknown place - where the options for discovery were endless - but I wasn’t changing location at all.
After many years of iterating, in Jan 2021 I launched Creative Quests - a programme for people all around the world which explores new themes monthly - just like I did in 2016.
Our tagline ‘For People Fuelled By Curiosity’ is the reflection of my belief that a life lead with curiosity and creativity at its core is a life rich in meaning and connection. When you’re in a state of curiosity - you choose intrigue over fear, empathy over judgement - you are open to new ways of being.
