Crostatina

About an hour and a half from Rome in Sabaudia on the coast is where these little gems originate from. Crostatina from a shoot yesterday which is part of a new project documenting Italy's regions, people and food.. each region has its own specialities which reflect the seasons and the terrior and those that work it. This style of tart and sweet nibbles is indicative to Sabaudia just outside Lazio towards Napoli. My favourite is the wild sour cherry jam tarts (Amarena cherry) .
