The catalogue includes some representative writing pieces during my study at Contextual and Theoretical Studies session in London College of Communication at the second term when I was at year 1. Since most of my writing contains lots of images, I decide to make the overall design in a lifestyle magazine way, which should enhance the content and help readers to navigate while browsing it. This catalogue is inspired by the first mail-order catalogue Tiffany Blue Book, published in 1845 in the United States. I am using Baskerville and Grotesque from that eras to interact the content with these historical typefaces whereas expressing a modern editorial design. The covers is designed in a “mail envelope” situation to reflect the inspiration.
