Curating Norwegian culture
KUBE - a speculative project we worked on with KulturVest; a member organisation for professional cultural institutions for Western Norway. Originally proposed by the cultural organisation as ‘an event listing website’ called ‘Kultur-i-Bergen’ (Culture in Bergen) we worked to help evolve the idea and offering. The main criteria for the project was to design an identity for the working title ‘Kultur i Bergen’ or a different (new) name. Design a simple site showing the editorial/events listing, calendar and features of the site. We started with a series of creative workshops to develop a stronger, more captivating name.
Culture Vest engaged Steve Price as a creative director and design director to help create a brand new platform, celebrating culture in West Norway. Through several workshops and work meetings, Steve Price showed himself as a structured, exquisite, friendly and very creative designer, with a great understanding for digital, culture and people.
