Curation Of My Ongoing Daily Photography Practice - Book Nov 17

A personal daily photography practice.
I carry my camera through life, not specifically exploring a location in the hunt for an image. It becomes a catalyst for heightened presence, constantly looking and being conscious in relation to my surroundings. It is being receptive to the present, so when light, location and my existence within that moment align, it is captured.
It has been an insightful process curating my photographs for this book, seeing how my eye has developed and changed over the years, and how these images hold memories of time and place, instantly recalling emotions and the people I shared that moment with.
I have placed images together that were taken years apart in different places, creating a visual conversation between several years of this practice.
