For 10 years, giving has been at the heart of the TOMS business model -
the purchase of shoes gives shoes, eyewear gives sight and bags give safe
birth kits to a person in need - but as the company already gives so much,
I decided it’s time that consumers were empowered to do the same. As an entry for the D&AD New Blood Awards 2016, TOMS #giveback is a campaign allowing consumers to recycle their unloved shoes, bags or eyewear via third party retailers in order to save waste and raw materials. In return, they can receive up to 20% off their next Purchase with Purpose as a reward for engaging with the movement.
