DC Strategy is Australia's only all-inclusive franchise firm, with over 30 years of experience - from single unit locations to national and international networks. Between the franchise consulting, marketing, recruitment and legal disciplines, DC Strategy specialises in customising commercial strategies and legal frameworks to provide a stable platform for growth. The company needed a new visual identity that was modern yet spoke of its 30 year history and represented all the different departments - from Legal to Brand & Technology.

The new visual identity positions the firm as modern but traditional, committed to innovation but true to its roots and history. The logotype utilises custom typography based on the typefaces Montserrat and Snag. The geometric letterforms are modern, strong and legible while the subtle serifs add a traditional touch, a feature reflective of DC Strategy approach; it's all in the details. The typography, layouts and compositions are inspired by the idea of looking at a beautiful book - its tactile qualities, simplicity with accent on the content set in beautiful typefaces Playfair Display and Garamond. The visual language is also established through the use of a decorative pinstripes and a delicate geometric border, further emphasising elegance and sophistication.

The identity features the work of world-renowned watercolour artist Alvaro Castagnet, depicting beautiful moments captured in the cities significant to DC Strategy. Alvaro Castagnet’s mysterious cityscapes show cities illuminated by light with expressive brushstrokes - capturing the soul of places he paints and luring the viewer into the magic. Alvaro Castagnet is one of the world’s most highly respected watercolour artists. He has been recognized with top international honors for his painting and his art graces the walls of many private and corporate collectors worldwide.
