Deeds Not Words
With other young people from The Only Way Is Ethics, I helped to organise a live poetry event at Brick Lane. We used material about the suffragettes from the Museum of London's archives to stage an event that asked questions about gender equality and the importance of protest. We were lucky enough to involve Deanna Rodger and Gabriel Akamo, with other extremely talented poets.
