As a part of our degree, final year graphic design students are given the challenge to set up their own design agencies in house to gain the knowledge and experience of what it is like to run and be in a studio. through collaboration, myself and fellow student Mairi-Anne Maclennan have created Bond Studio. Together we have been through a creative and emotional journey, from creating the identity, branding and advertising of the agency, right through to real life workplace experiences of being the boss and hiring/firing other staff members.
Throughout the year we have been working with clients throughout Edinburgh and each agency day given the members a unique experience to learn from. Our agency day varies and can be working on client briefs, to running skills workshops to prepare our staff members for design industry.
