Destination Rio

This is a game concept for IAG Cargo the 5th largest Air Cargo company in the world. (IAG is a merger between British Airways World Cargo and Iberia Cargo).

Destination Rio was created as a game changing way to drive brand awareness, cut through and visibility. With the target audience having a heavy male bias, who love sport and the aviation industry, Destination Rio is surely going to score.

This application allows the user to connect their device to their desktop browser NodeJS via WebSockets.

The WebSocket specification defines an API establishing "socket" connections between a web browser and a server. In plain words: There is an persistent connection between the client and the server and both parties can start sending data at any time. It enables a mobile device via its browser to connect and transmit information to a desktop browser. Essentially allowing the two devices to have a two-way conversation. This allows a user to connect and interact with a element on a desktop browser using a mobile device such as a iPhone, Android device, as a remote control.

The game takes place in various environments ie. airports in countries around the world. Travelling from Shanghai, China to Heathrow, London all the way to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
