This project was designed around the idea of design detailing and street wear, with a great focus on photography. Photographers that influenced me were Vivian Maier and Henri Cartier-Bresson alongside modern day bloggers like The Satorialist.
My notion was not just about the clothes but the people in them. After my visual research, I realized who would be wearing my clothes. And it is all about the person, because how this person wears the clothes, how they do their hair, their posture, is what we find attractive or unattractive.
I wanted convey a strong personality, I wanted to bring forth comfort and effortless style to her, bringing in shapes and cuts that do not necessarily scream feminine in a traditional sense of the word. To find the harmony between this woman’s femininity and her masculinity.
