DETAK is a wristband that tracks the user's health by reading their heart rate and it also tells the local time. As the features of the watch so simple, everything is controlled in an app on the user's smartphone. When the heart rate reaches an abnormal point, the app will give a notification and will tell the users the best thing to do, any emergency numbers, as well as the nearest clinic or hospital.
This wristband is made for South-East Asia. DETAK has got an interchangeable strap to encourage user's to travel around South-East Asia as each country has got their own unique traditional print and it becomes a personal collectible item. DETAK will be introduced to the public as they are purchasing an airline ticket to travel to any country within the South-East Asian region - so the whole thing becomes a packaged holiday, not just toprotect the traveller, but to increase and improve tourism in South-East Asia.
