I was briefed to create and design this DM pack to announce a discount for Volvo clutch kits. They were consistently up against cut-price competitors selling parts for their cars. So I also wanted to instil some perceived value by drawing on the simplicity and minimalism of Swedish design – very apt for this car maker. For the pack I designed a call-to-action piece as a clutch plate, to fit inside a pouch – the back touched on the benefits of the promotion. I included a die-cut strut card, as well as a simple and functional letterhead.
