Discovering the Folklore of Plants

  • Elizabeth Bradley
Long before people started to write down or otherwise record their knowledge and understanding of the natural world, pertinent information was orally passed from generation to generation through the medium of story telling. The subject of my work is the book ‘Discovering the Folklore of Plants’ (1969) – a guide to the use of common plants for mitigating life troubles and understanding cause and effect.

Lenticular print is harnessed as a means to reanimate and refresh the format whilst staying true to the essence of the book.
