Degree show at Chelsea College of Arts in September 2015. The work was awarded best curated in show and explored issues of displacement and memory whilst working between two sites; the studio and the forest. By using different models of visual representation, being the object, the image and the map, I created opposing physical and mental landscapes. Cutting into tree trunks and setting them into blocks of plaster created a tension between the natural and the man made. Cast fragments became integrated into walls as the industrial and the natural interlink, a narrative formed between the forest and the gallery.
