"Do not be scared of that inner voice" - Manal Rostom

It was really great and inspiring to meet Manal Rostom! She is such an energetic force! While at the Thinkher Ambition and Facebook Black History Month event focused on encouraging young women of colour to pursue careers in tech, Manal gave a motivational talk about her journey to be the first woman to wear a hijab in a Nike campaign. She discussed the response that she got from her community and the impact she had on the minds of the young women from the Muslim community. She gave some really inspiring motivational advice for anyone feeling limited by their environment. The event was focused around inspiring the next generation to be excited about tech, to inspire the next generation of women in business to want to be female leaders and to step up and want to make a difference. It was a pleasure to be able to shoot and edit the video.
