Doors (Photography)

In these series, Tanausu photographed Traditional doors in his native La Laguna's historical center, Tenerife, Canary islands. The town was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999 and Tanausu always had a Love for the hand made doors, some of them dating to the 17th Century, immortalising them here showcasing the craftsmanship and graphic abstraction of the patterns. Some are closed some are opened, inviting the viewer to imagine what lies behind those doors and looking at the detail and the effect that time has had on some of them.
