The dotdotdot app was created as an extension of the SOMNAI experience. Visitors download the app before entering the show and log in with their unique "Patient ID" which they are given upon the arrival to the clinic. The ID number is used to identify "patient’s" data and feed it back to the app where patients are able to access and share data such as their heart rate, captured throughout the experience and 3D head scans (taken upon their arrival) to which they can apply sci-fi filters and share them on social media. While at the bar, "patients" can scan AR cocktails to reveal hidden content. The app wass developed for both Android and Apple devices using Unity, Vuforia, and Fitbit API.
