Trunk was a residêncy and an exhibition that took place at Fábrica da Pólvora in Oeiras, Portugal during one month in 2013.

This project born from the familiarity and memory with the shape of human body. throughout the work process this trunk was sedimented in a form of charcoal stains that accumulate line after line revealing what can not be represented and the acceptability of the absence of the body.
These are drawings that reborn in the presence of one tree, one before the other.
There are a trunk, human or vegetal, from wood or skin that involve us all and invites us to bread an immense air.
This is the air from every day.
