Dream Jars

Almost all of my most memorable novels are the more imaginative yet maturely written children’s books, written by the likes of Roald Dahl. The BFG, illustrated by Quentin Blake contains chapters of hugely descriptive text and therefore inspitartion in the form of words. Relating to my favourite parts of the book and descriptions within, I came up with a dreamy and quite abstact collection of textile designs. In the story, the jars filled with dreams seemed facinating and lead my to draw from specemin jars; an obscure and unusual subject matter.
