Duende Uzumaki

Probably my most complicated image to date - made using photography and illustration, with textured background and effects, and built up with layers and filters - everything made by me in Adobe Photoshop and Photoshop Sketch. The idea is the spiral (uzumaki) of music entering through the ear of the dancer to create the feeling of duende (the inspiration to dance) - the scene is meant to capture that moment between absorption and inspiration.
